We LOVE lemonade over here in the Disheveled household. If it's pink, even better. Did you know that pink lemonade ISN'T made with food coloring? (Well, the packaged stuff is...but that's a whole other product...) Pink lemonade made from scratch gets its gorgeous hue from a teensy bit of cranberry juice!
It is super simple to make, in a pitcher combine:
- 1 cup HOT water (for dissolving sugar)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Stir until dissolved completely. Then stir in:
- 1 cup lemon juice, fresh is best but bottled works in a pinch, and is easier on the pocketbook
- 1/4- 1/2 cup cranberry juice, depending on your preferred color
Add water to fill the pitcher, chill, and serve.
Easy and delicious!
